I got this idea after looking at a few photos my friend Jon took at a recent art show in LA.
(I recommend doing this ONLY if you have cheap IKEA furniture like I do)

What you’ll need:
(You can get everything at Michael’s)

1. Start by taking the lid off of the top of the paint bucket, and drawing a line of hot glue along the raised, outer rim.

2. Flip the paint bucket over so it is upside down, and glue the lid to the bottom of the bucket.

3. Paint the inside bottom of each bucket so it is completely solid.

4. Flip the bucket upside down again, and apply one Scotch Mounting Square to each center.

5. Stick the bucket right to the wall, wherever you want it to be mounted.

6. Use a small brush to start painting drips and smears directly underneath each bucket.

Don’t be afraid to paint directly onto objects underneath the buckets! It makes it look that much more interesting to the eye.

and voila!

Thank you to my friends at Windsday who make the most AMAZING handmade gifts!!! You can find more like my tristar headband and brass gold number necklace here: WINDSDAY

FINALLY finished this huge Mr. Brainwash piece in my living room. I got bored half way through and it sat unfinished for about a year and a half. I guess that’s what happens when you don’t have a team of people to execute it for you.

Would you rather…
be with someone you don’t love forever
or
never have that one person you can’t get over?
sometimes you find a love so amazing that you wonder how you ever survived without it. but sometimes, it just doesn’t work out. and you go thru the motions, you become the depressed girl, the girl in denial, the miss-independent, but you also become the girl who closes her heart and gives up hope. you become the girl who is so blind to her pain, that you cannot see anything else. you become a shell of your former self, and you truly believe that only HE can make u whole again.
but what if he can’t. more importantly, what if he doesn’t want to. dont you owe it to yourself to try? don’t you owe it to yourself to find happiness? don’t you owe it to yourself to take the next step?
sometimes you need to stop holding on so you can start moving on.
